Why it exists

When one HomeUpgraders module solves a useful problem well, that capability does not have to be rebuilt from zero in every later app. The Function Bank records reusable functions, their source, boundaries and tests so newer tools can build on proven work.

3. Reuse itA later app can integrate the proven capability instead of duplicating it.

Reuse disclaimer

HomeUpgraders reuses functions from existing modules to help build the next generation of apps. Reuse does not mean every function is automatically enabled in every app. Each integration still has to fit the new module, respect its permissions and data boundaries, and be tested in that context before release.

What stays canonical

The Function Bank is a shared capability index, not a second app ecosystem. Modules remain responsible for their own user experience while common capabilities are reused rather than silently reimplemented.
